“‘Follow the Crows’ was quite literally born from a dream I had about exploring a dark, misty
cemetery. In the dream, the gargoyles atop the crypts came alive, sharing the stories of the souls
resting beneath. When I visited a couple of cemeteries in New Orleans, I found myself watching
the crows- silent witnesses to funerals, watching people come and go, and bodies that never
leave. In this song, I wanted to bring that concept to life: a gothic graveyard where the mist, the
trees, and the crows themselves form the watchful spirit of an all-seeing world, quietly protecting
those within. Inspired by the tradition of classic murder ballads, I set out to create something that
draws you into the fog—where the past still breathes, and every crow’s call carries a secret. It’s a
quiet, eerie chapter of my album, exploring grief and change through the haunting lens of a
