Divine Shade is starting the year off on a high note with the release of their debut full-length album, Fragments-Vol. 1. The neo-industrial band has roots in Lyon, France. They’ve been around for a decade, releasing singles and touring across Europe. While I’ve reviewed a couple of their tracks, I was eager to listen to their first LP.

Divine Shade continues to unleash their neo industrial rock sounds into the ether with their latest single, “Hate And Oblivion.” The band is based in Lyon, France, and has already collaborated with prominent figures in the industrial music scene, from Gary Numan to former Nine Inch Nails drummer, Chris Vrenna. The new single gives a taste of a bigger forthcoming project.

Macabre Shoutout: Divine Shade’s Electrically Charged Industrial Track “Oublier”

Hailing from Lyon, France, Divine Shade is a band that blends a mix of dark alternative sounds that include industrial, darkwave and electronic. Last October, they dropped a single titled “Oublier,” which gives a taste of a bigger music project they’re currently working on. The song is my introduction to this group, and I’m pleasantly pleased with what I hear.
