Unique Vintage’s Creepy Collection Will Dress You for the Halloween Season

Unique Vintage: Creepy Collection

Unique Vintage’s newest collections are inspired by some of the most iconic names and themes within the spooky realm, including Elvira, The Conjuring Universe, Practical Magic, Beetlejuice, and more. Each line offers a variety of pieces, like gowns, tops, bottoms, footwear, and accessories. I’ll share a bit about each collection and the products that stand out to me. 

Elvira Mistress of the Dark X Unique Vintage

Elvira is a spooky household name, and Unique Vintage’s Elvira collab has pieces that tap into the sexy side of horror. Plus, many of the items feature the Mistress of the Dark’s famous dagger accessory. Let’s start with the Elvira x Unique Vintage Burgundy Dagger Velvet Maxi Dress. It has a tapered waist and long skirt with a sultry high slit on one side. Another killer gown is the Black Velvet Batwing Neckline Maxi Dress, which has a thigh-high slit and leopard print lining!

For a more fun, playful look, the Elvira x Magnolia Place Comics Swing Dress has a comic book pattern with all sorts of Elvira images. There are also neat accessories to complete your outfit, such as the Yours Cruelly Bat Sunglasses and Elvira Dagger Trifold Wallet.

Practical Magic x Unique Vintage

With the release of the Practical Magic sequel this September, Unique Vintage’s Practical Magic collab is perfectly timed. The collection is enchantingly whimsical and charming. The Black Velvet Lily of the Valley Embroidered Maxi Dress immediately caught my eye. The raven-colored velvet dress has a deep V-neckline, bell sleeves, and Lily of the Valley flower details on the bodice. You’ll look like you’re about to cast some powerful spells wearing this!

There are also lovely accessories that accompany the collection. The Black Velvet Wide Brim Witch Hat gives classic witchy energy. If you prefer something more subtle, go with the Witchwood Bags Black Moon & Bat Sun Hat. Another wonderful find is the Belladonna Leatherette Circle Bag that says, “The Belladonna is in my bag.” If you’ve seen the film, then you know.

The Conjuring Universe x Unique Vintage

Horror fans will be delighted with The Conjuring Universe collab. I have to admit that there are a lot of shops that do horror collabs, but I haven’t seen many that highlight The Conjuring films in a fashionable way. This collection stands out and pairs well with the boutique’s vintage vibe, featuring 1970s-inspired styles.

If you’ve got a sweet spot for the Annabelle doll, there are a few options to choose from. There’s The Conjuring x Unique Vintage Purple Plaid Vivien Swing Skirt, which has an image of Annabelle sitting on the lap of a figure in a rocking chair with the phrase, “She made me do it.” If you want to emulate the haunting doll’s look, the Annabelle x Unique Vintage White Annabelle Ruffle Swing Dress may be for you.

I really like the pieces that channel the spirit of Lorraine Warren in the movies. The 1970s Black Flocked Leota Swing Dress is raven-colored with a pattern that shows Annabelle’s face. However, its elegant silhouette is giving the mystical, feminine energy of Lorraine. The Black Button Up Vest reminds me of a similar look that actress Vera Farmiga, who played Lorraine, had in the 2013 movie The Conjuring. 

Beetlejuice x Unique Vintage

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! This collection drops September 21, and you’re in for a treat! Black-and-white stripes, purple, and green are the primary color themes. The sandworm, one of Beetlejuice’s nemeses, makes an appearance on a few pieces. One is a black dress that has the sandworms pictured on the skirt, crawling. The collection also features a black knit sweater with Lydia’s face on the front. Speaking of Lydia, you can get her bridal look when she’s about to wed the “ghost with the most.” I’m referring to a crimson red dress with ruffle detail that’s to die for.

Horror Hostess

The Horror Hostess collection exudes vampy vibes. Tap into your inner horror hostess with a wide range of gothic-inspired styles. This line reminds me of Vampira, the original glamour ghoul. Spiderwebs dominate the collection, which delights my black heart. The Smak Parlour Nude Spiderweb Sequin Faux Wrap Diane Maxi Dress and Unique Vintage Black Velvet & Rhinestone Batwing Norma Maxi Dress are macabre, opulent, and chic. And the Black Lace Spiderweb Parasol is just the thing to complete the look.

Celestial Collection

If you want to lean into autumn’s lunar energy, then the Celestial Collection is for you. The styles are ethereal, featuring moons, stars, constellations, and night sky patterns. A few items that caught my eye include the Smak Parlour Emerald & Star Print Stevie Maxi Dress and the Black & Star Print Long Sleeve Tara Maxi Dress. There are also a variety of accessories to complete your heavenly look, like the Black Celestial Fishnet Tights and this Gold Tone Moon Multi Layered Chain Belt.

Unique Vintage’s Creepy Collection not only includes licensed collabs but also a variety of other spooky items. There are plenty of fashion pieces that will show off your Halloween spirit and capture the autumn season. Of course, there’s lots of orange and black, pumpkins, and ghosts. For instance, the Candy Corn Tiered Cindy Swing Dress and Orange Leatherette Jack-o-Lantern Handbag would be a perfect outfit for a Halloween party. But in all honesty, these are pieces I would wear year-round because I’m just that type of ghoul.
