Blackcraft Coffee has made its way to the West Coast. The witchy café has been serving guests in Salem, Massachusetts, for a few years. Early in 2026, they opened their second location in the City of Angels. Its wicked ambiance and delicious coffee make it a must-stop when you need your caffeine fix.

You can’t miss the Blackcraft Coffee sign when driving down Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles. There’s an outdoor patio at the entrance with magical string lights hanging. Stepping inside, black dominates the décor. Cauldrons, straw brooms, occult symbols, and gothic elements add to the charm.

There was a gigantic cauldron at one end of the counter. I’m not sure what it was used for, but I thought it was amazing. I’d like one for my kitchen. Suspended from the ceiling were several enchanting clusters of—what looked like—straw and floral herbs tied together. I imagined a witch pulling some down to throw in a potion she’s brewing.

Now, let’s talk about the coffee because that is at the core of this small business. I’m a big coffee lover, so when coffee and spooky unite, that makes it even better! The café’s menu features a variety of coffees and teas that you can get hot, iced, or blended. For my first visit, I ordered the Magical Mocha Latte, hot. As soon as I tasted it, I was in a dream! It was so good.

Blackcraft Coffee also sells their line of roasts, and they have many. There are light, medium, and dark roasts with names like Sleepy Hollow Maple Brown Sugar, Midnight Dreary, and Salem 1692 Roast. The packaging is so eye-catching, and the illustrations look like menacing fairy tales.

Down a hall, I noticed a backroom. Above the threshold there were the words “The Ritual Continues” with an arrow pointed down toward the open door. It was a shop filled with the brand’s merch. I thought it was so neat that they have this as an extension of the café. Besides their coffee and mugs, this space also displays racks of their clothing. They carry tees, sweatshirts, and lounge bottoms.
I’m glad Blackcraft Coffee has opened an LA location. It’s a great spot to enjoy a spooky beverage solo, with a companion, or with ghoul friends. They’ve got indoor and outdoor seating, and the street they’re on has other shops, so you can take a leisurely walk around if you like. You can follow them on social media to stay in-the-know. If you’re in Salem, check out their flagship café. Both locations are open seven days a week.
