What’s on everyone’s wish list to Sandy Claws this year? There are many new things that debut annually, so I’m mainly highlighting goodies that unleashed in 2022. Plus, what I mention might ignite inspiration and more ideas for you. Whether you or the person you’re shopping for have been naughty or nice, I’ve included a little something to appease many tastes and desires. This gift list is full of treats to brighten up dark souls, and I hope it makes the holiday season, or shall I say the holi-ween season, a bit spookier.
Books

I’m a total bookworm, and this year saw the release of plenty of horror fiction. I wish I read more over the last 11 months, so the few titles I insert here I’ll likely be buying for myself as well.
The Hacienda by Isabel Cañas
Jackal by Erin E. Adams
No Gods for Drowning by Hailey Piper
What Moves the Dead by T. Kingfisher
White Horse by Erika Wurth
Woman, Eating by Claire Kohda
Dark Art

Dark art really speaks to my soul, and I’m proud of the collection of prints I’ve attained so far to adorn my dark art wall at home. Check out the following artists who continuously produce new work. Their pieces would be great to gift the art collector in your life. I also include links to a few galleries that sell artwork from current and past exhibits, and they’re perfect sources for discovering more artists.
Fashion
There’s nothing like slipping into dark attire to make one feel empowered. I know I enjoy adding to my boot collection and black wardrobe. These shops drop new fashion lines, garments and accessories throughout the year, and I believe some of them ship across the U.S. and possibly internationally.
Food & Drink

I am far from being a super witch in the kitchen, but I like to try my hand at spooky cooking once in a while. Here are a couple of cookbook recommendations for individuals who love to stir the cauldron. The second was published in 2021, but I had to include it anyway!
Death for Dinner by Zach Neil
Devil’s Food: A Satanic Cookbook by Adam Dodge Ostrofsky
Spiritual

Whatever spiritual path the person you’re shopping for is on, they might appreciate some more tools to aid them on their journey. From astrology planners to crystals, you’re sure to find enlightening treasures.
I hope you find this spooky holiday gift list helpful, and if you have other ideas, please share them in the comments. I’d love to hear them. To all the darkly inclined, I wish you a Merry Scary Gothmas, Creepmas, and Vampmas. Happy Hallow-days!
Thanks for the suggestions. I am interested in horror books and I’ve read some Clive Barker’s works including Books of Blood, Hellbound Heart, and Mr. B Gone, as well as Priscilla Bettis books, a fellow blogger, you might have seen. I will take a look at your suggestions.

Nice collection, Jenn. Really nice, actually. Though, plenty of delicious naughtiness, too. So…which list claims you, Nice or Naughty? Hmm?
Speaking of deliciousness, guess what first seized my attention. Mr. Neil, we’re not done yet. Nowhere close.
The art gallery thrilled me as well. Is your personal Dark Art wall above your cabinet of curiosities (you know, the one you showed us a couple months ago), or is it elsewhere? Either way, worth a future entry.
Anyway, I’m sure we both will post between now and then, but anyway, let me wish you Happy (and Spooky) Holidays!

I’m a Libra, so I’m going to say I’m both naughty and nice😄. My dark art wall is above that cabinet but even that’s not big enough to fit all my prints! And I can’t say much, but I plan to show my dark art wall and more for a future blog project. Thank you for reading and Happy Holidays to you as well!
