Dracmorda and Swanthula Boulet during the Dragula: Titans Tour of Terror
The queens of darkness, The Boulet Brothers, recently went on tour with the finalists of Dragula: Titans season 2. They were joined by Abhora, Jay Kay, Jaharia, and the winner of S2, Evah Destruction. The Titans Tour of Terror traveled across the U.S., and I attended the show in Los Angeles. What a night of drag entertainment!
While one year has gone, another has begun. That means it’s time to look ahead to see what spooky surprises 2026 has in store. Every year on Vamp Jenn’s Corner, I like to compile a list of events that are taking place worldwide throughout the course of the next 12 months. My Odd & Macabre Events Calendar highlights all sorts of gatherings that fall under the strange and unusual umbrella. My hope is that it makes it easier to discover spooky events happening near you.
I include horror cons, immersive experiences, macabre holidays, dark art exhibits, Halloween haunts, and so much more. Some events are returning, so you may have seen them on my past calendars. I try to feature as many things as possible that take place across the globe, so a variety of locations are covered. I also do my best to keep this post updated and add more functions as I learn about them. Here’s a taste of what morbid and bizarre happenings you can expect in 2026. Please do bookmark and share this page. Enjoy!
If you enjoy podcasts about the paranormal or are searching for one to add to your rotation, then allow me to introduce you to Chillers and Thrillers. Creator and host “M” likes to keep the mystery alive, so they only go by their first initial. M launched the project in 2023 after noticing that most spooky podcasts overemphasized gore or comedy in their retellings of accounts. M set out to produce a show that shared true eerie stories in a family-friendly way. Over the course of just two years, Chillers and Thrillers’ reach has grown to thousands of downloads monthly and its audience continues to expand.
The Boulet Brothers and their entourage of monsters have taken the U.S. by storm on the official Dragula season 666 tour. The tour began in last August and has traveled to major cities nationwide. The whole excursion is slated to wrap up in late September, and I attended the Los Angeles stop. If you haven’t read my recaps of past shows, let me preface by saying that I’m a huge Dragula fan and this is the third event I’ve attended. Let’s dive into all the horror, filth and glamour!

The ending of a year can be rife with mixed emotions. I find that how I celebrate can set the vibe for the next 12 months, and ushering in a new year with a burlesque show kickstarts it in a playful way. When Dita Von Teese announced she would be hosting a New Year’s Eve gala in Los Angeles, I knew that’s how I wanted to bid adieu to 2024. Curious to know what happens during a Von Teese burlesque extravaganza? Here’s a peek!

Spooky season 2024 witnesses the return of Dark Harbor aboard the Queen Mary. After a three-year hiatus, the Halloween festival is rising from the grave and is aptly themed, “The Spirits Rise.” Many were excited when the news was announced on April 30th, which is Walpurgis Night and the halfway to Halloween mark. It’s no doubt one of the most highly anticipated events happening this fall.
Within Los Angeles County, there’s a city filled with spooky things to do—Long Beach. This SoCal city is where I grew up and holds a special place in my black heart. While there are many creepy activities and events sprawled across LA, I wanted to hone in on this slice of the California coast. I figured it’s time I create a travel guide to the LBC, mapping out macabre places you must check out. Whether you’re a visitor or local who’s pining for new spots to discover, this list is brimming with spooky finds and is meant for the traveler who appreciates the darkness.
The Boulet Brothers have worked their dark magic yet again and put on an amazing show for the LA stop of their Dragula season 5 tour. The fifth season finalists include Blackberri, Orkgotik, Throb Zombie and winner of the Super Monster title, Niohuru X. The wicked coven has been touring across the U.S. for the past month and has been joined by various special guests along the way. Here’s a recap of the night!
Vamp Jenn attending the 57 Ghosts seance on The Queen Mary
Would you attend a séance on a haunted historic ship? The Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA, gives guests the chance to do just that with 57 Ghosts. The attraction is a theatrical experience that taps into the occult and supernatural, conjuring all sorts of mysteries. I was definitely eager to straddle the line between the living and the dead.
